The eleventh-generation Honda Civic hasn't started showing its age yet, and the Japanese automaker has ensured that its compact model remains competitive by giving it a facelift in 2024, some three years after production commenced.
However, a small chunk of the rendering world believes it is time for this model to get a new generation, and in this case, it was Evren Ozgun Spy Sketch on YouTube who decided to act accordingly by releasing a brand-new Honda Civic.
When seen from above, like in the opening picture, this machine kind of reminds us of the Mercedes-Benz A-Class Sedan. It looks nothing like the current Honda Civic, as it has a more angular design overall, a new grille that is still home to the corporate logo, smaller LED headlights, an aggressive bumper, a smaller hood, fat wheel arches, a more angular window line, thick C-pillars, newly-designed taillights, and a boxy bumper at the rear.
The pixel artist decided that black suits it best, so he virtually utilized this color on the car's exterior, while also sprinkling it with a few chrome accents. The wheels look like they came from the aftermarket world, as they have some concavity to them. If anything, these alloys would feel at home on a BMW, not a Honda, especially a regular Civic, but we won't complain about them as we have seen far worse.
Do you know how some rendering artists often draw the line at imagining a car's exterior? Well, not the quoted one, as he has also rendered the cockpit, which is very BMW-ish. This rendered 2027 Honda Civic has a dual-screen setup behind a single pane of glass taking stage on the new dashboard panel. The air vents have a different shape, and the central ones sit above the HVAC controls.
The center console is home to the gear selector and a few other buttons, the three-spoke steering wheel was partially wrapped in white leather, and we can see more of the latter on the front bucket seats, center console, dashboard panel, and other elements of the interior. The dashboard also features what seems to be brown leather, and the metal inserts here and there pretty much complete the aftermarket makeover.
These renderings have nothing to do with the actual future generation Honda Civic, which should still be a few good years away from being revealed. Nevertheless, we cannot help but notice that the imagined car looks a lot more premium, and something like this would clearly translate into a steeper price tag attached to it. We do not know what the future holds for the Civic, yet we can safely assume that it won't look anything like this. But would that be a mistake?
