By the grace of God, we are content, but the people living in the portion above us seem to have a completely different mindset. I constantly feel like they are in a silent competition with me. Whether it’s a small home improvement or something special I do for my children, they immediately try to outdo it the very next day. At first, I used to feel unsettled, wondering if I was doing something wrong or if I needed to keep up with them. However, I soon realized that true happiness doesn't come from proving yourself to others; it comes from being grateful for what you have.
